There's a place on ocean avenue, where I used to sit and talk with you. we were both sixteen and it felt so right, sleeping all day, staying up all night.
[/li][li] Beautiful. That was the waves crashing against the sand. She watched all of this from her perch on a crevice of rocks. She couldn't have reach this without a little help of the added strength of her werewolf side. She enjoyed the view though. It was beautiful, to say the least. The sunset was perched on the horizon, casting firered colors across the sky. Oranges lit up the clouds, coloring the horizon themselves with the flashes of an ending day. It was just as magnificent as a sunrise. Brooklyn watched it all with expectant blue eyes, sighing softly as she tilted her head to one side. She closed her eyes for a moment, enjoying it. It was then she felt she ought to head home, and she stood up, hitching herself up onto the rocks and scurrying back to the tide pools before anyone spotted her amazing sort of feat. [/li][li]The newly discovered werewolf enjoyed being reckless. She didn't want any vampires finding her out though. She knew if she was a werewolf, there ought to be vampires around. She didn't know alot about who she was really, with this new identity to her. She felt sort of like a masked superhero, being the daring girl who had wolf powers. She really did love being a werewolf though. She could run and run. She loved running. She was actually on the school track team. It thrilled her a whole lot, to be able to run. She wondered if being a were was why she was the strongest runner on the team though. She'd played with the thought of quitting the track team, but it upset her. It was her escape, in a way, from the world around her. Brushing her bangs back, she let out a happy sigh. At least at times like this she was completely content. [/li][li]She skipped over the tide pools, but she happened to go close to the edge of the water, where a cliff overlooking the beach was. Her bare feet slipped against the rock, and with a startled yelp, she suddenly plunged over the side of the cliff. This was bad, this was very bad. She braced herself for the force of the water, closing her eyes as air wooshed past her. With a slam, she hit the water full force, and the breath was knocked out of her. Trying to regain it, she accidently swallowed some water. She clawed at the surface, her eyes stinging. She felt like she'd hit concrete, and her ribs were aching with pain. How could she be as stupid to get so close to that cliff drop-off? She wasn't even sure if anyone was around to help her. It was late, and she'd been by the tide pools. Hopefully someone popped up. With a stubborn, proud grin, Eve jumped from jagged rock to jagged rock. It was a normal activity for a normal teen, but what was so special about Eve was that she was jumping rocks five meters apart from each other. With her short hair tied into a loose bun and her hair hanging over her rich brown eyes, the werewolf felt almost nothing as she landed roughly on her bare feet. Her too large navy sweatpants billowed in the wind, while her small black tank top clung to her slender body.
And then Eve heard the loud splash. Her head spun around, flinging the elastic band out of her hair and into a tide pool. I'll need it later, she told herself, and using her newfound speed she snatched the elastic out of the little pool and then darted to the source of the sound. She expected some one she knew to be splashing around in the water helplessly; in La Push, just about everyone knew each other. But she certainly did not expect to see a fellow wolf. Finding Brooklyn falling off of the cliff caught Eve off guard and she stood dazed for a moment.
Shaking her head to clear her thoughts, the young werewolf quickly tried to decide what to do. Should she call for help? She didn't have a cell phone. Run back to the nearest house? Or should she just dive in and help Brooklyn herself? Acting on impulse, Eve ran closer to the edge, and then she flew off the cliff, her toes pointing upward. Holy crap. Bad idea, bad idea! The words screamed in her mind just before her fingertips broke the surface.

[/li][li]Really bad, she finally clawed herself to the surface. She gave a deep intake of breath when a splash sounded beside her. She was bewildered for a moment, her wolfish strength taking over as she sucked in a deep breath of air. She then plunged downward into the water again, this time gazing around to see what had joined her in that horribly long fall. Her ribs gave a protest. She'd probably actually broke one from that fall, but she was known for having a wonderful threshold on pain. Like that time in gym class she broke her leg after slipping off the beams the gym teacher had set up. She hadn't even cried. Blinking at seeing a somewhat familiar face, her hand reached out and snatched at her, moving to drag her upward to the surface. One they broke surface again, she let out a relieved breath. [/li][li]" I'm never doing that again." She declared breathlessly. At least she was wearing her bathing suit with her shorts when she happened to plunge into the murky depths. Overhead, the sun was shooting it's last rays across the skies, and now it was vanishing on the horizon. They were left in a silky darkness, that wasn't quite dark, but wasn't quite light. Immediately, her night vision kicked in, and she gazed around for a moment. She hoped to god no one else saw them. She then averted her attention to the girl who had plunged so recklessly after her. " You didn't think to go get help?" She said in a sort of deadpan tone, one eyebrow raised at her in slight curiosity. It wasn't a mean comment, she was just wondering why the girl had thought jumping from the cliff she'd just fallen off of would do anything good. [/li][li]The moon was beginning to affect the tide. It was a waning crescent right now, but the tides were affected just the same. They were like two bobbers in the ocean. The thought stuck her as rather funny, as she paddled most like a dog. She was sort of tempted to change into her wolf form to swim back, but she didn't know how her 'might-be-broken' rib would react that strain. She hadn't ever transformed with an injury yet. She'd rather do it in a safe environment, or at least ask someone who knew. Then again, it was sort of hard to find someone that knew. Tilting her head so water came out of her ear, she grumbled to herself. " Not how I planned my evening."

As she came up from her dive -- quite an impressive dive, if she did say so herself -- Eve looked around for Brooklyn. What?! She wasn't drowning? What the hell?!? I dove in this freezing -- not that it matters nowadays -- water from the top of a cliff to save some one who wasn't dying?! the werewolf thought angrily, but she knew she couldn't hold a grudge. She was horrible at holding grudges. And besides, it wasn't Brooklyn's fault that she wasn't drowning.
"You didn't think to go get help?"
Eve turned her head with a splashing of her hands to glare at the older girl. It was half-filled with humour, but still...The water would be cold if her body temperature wasn't much, much higher than normal. Eve turned around again to face the cliffs in front of them. "I did think of that, actually," she told Brooklyn. "But I figured I haven't been cliff diving for a while, right?" With the same cocky grin, she ducked under and swam down as far as she could.
When she came up, she was facing the complete opposite way that she had been before, and for a millisecond she was filled with panic. "Gyah!" Eve gasped, her wet bangs clinging to her eyelids.

Voted most likely to end up On the back of a Milk box drink Looks like I'm gonna Let them down " She stopped mid-sentence when Eve suddenly dived downward. She waited a few moments, before she popped back up. A soft laugh exited her lips as she cradled her side softly. " Uh, there's almost no way we're going to be able to make it back to shore with the tides against us." She pointed out to Eve as the waves began to build. She gave a few weak paddles to stay on top of one as it went to crash over them. She snorted in disdain at the water. She liked swimming, but not with likely broken ribs. " If we yell, maybe someone will hear and help us out?" She said in a dismayed voice, looking over at her. [&]She gingerly rubbed her nose, giving a soft sigh. " Or we could be two wolves paddling into the bay... Which would look weird. Very weird." She stopped, running a hand through her black hair for a moment. Her silver eyes gazed around. They didn't have a sure-fire way out of this. Maybe if they started yelling for some help, but even then, who was on the beach at this time of night? Okay, she was never going to sit on that perch without shoes again. Then she wouldn't end up in freezing water, with a rib or two broken. That's something that just wouldn't happen again if she could help it. [&]She paddled again so a wave wouldn't overtake her, and then sighed softly. Maybe they could make it to shore. She sometimes underestimated herself a little too much. She started paddling that way, looking a little like a drenched dog paddling. Then again, most werewolves looked wolfish or doggish. However, Brooklyn looked more so than most werewolves. You could probably tell she was a were if you were looking right. At least she didn't smell like a wet dog when wet. That'd be horrible, for one thing. It'd smell horrible also. It'd chase any prospective dates away as well. No though, in water she ended up smelling either clean, or like the ocean. Either one was good with her.[/ul]

With a suspicious frown, Eve looked down into the water in the general area of Brooklyn's ribs. "Uh...Are you okay?" she asked the other werewolf, her eyebrows pulling together a bit. "Uh, there's almost no way we're going to be able to make it back to shore with the tides against us. If we yell, maybe someone will hear and help us out?" The little village was too far away for them to yell and have some one hear them, especially with the wind and the height of the cliffs. Eve shook her head, dismissing the idea.
"Or we could be two wolves paddling into the bay... Which would look weird. Very weird," Brooklyn suggested. This caught Eve's attention and she looked at the older girl with a smirk. But she'd never phased with an injury before, and she was pretty sure Brooklyn hadn't either. "I don't think you should try phasing just yet," the younger wolf said. "But, I could phase, and carry you back..." That's right, just steal all the fun from Brooklyn.
Without waiting for an answer, she concentrated on shifting from a human body to her wolf form. Her shape flickered and twitched as spasms ran through her, and then with a burst and a splash there was a dark gray-brown wolf in her place. With something like a bark, Get on, Eve swung her head around to look at Brooklyn.
